This is a custom-designed upper radiator support/shroud intended for use in 3rd gen Camaro and Firebirds (1982-1992) with aftermarket, 3-row or 4-row radiators. This replaces the original plastic top shroud, and is intended for use with aftermarket aluminum radiators or LS swaps.
The 3-row size works perfectly for fourth gen Camaro radiator swaps - if you're using a fourth gen radiator on your third gen, grab the 3-row size.
If your Camaro or Firebird's top radiator holder is missing, or you're using zip ties or long bolts to hold your aftermarket radiator in place, this is the part you've been looking for!
Manufactured in North Carolina, USA out of heavy duty 14 gauge 5052 aluminum; it is sturdy enough that it will likely outlast your Camaro. Installation is simple - just remove and reinstall with the 4 bolts along the front edge of your current radiator support. For the perfect tight fit, you'll want to trim and install rubber isolators to fit your specific radiator setup. Rubber isolators are not included, because we only sell parts made in the USA and have not found any isolators that aren't made in China.
Please note that no upper hose bracket is included, as every build is different. If your upper hose needs more support, you can drill this bracket and add a hose clamp to hold the hose where you need it.
Available Finishes
- "Shiny" polished-look finish - this is a smooth, raw aluminum finish (also known as "mill finish"). Looks great under the hood, but can attract scratches due to its natural finish. My lawyer said to tell you "please note, these are made of raw aluminum which naturally attracts scratches and may have small imperfections due to the mill or manufacturing process", but I do my best to avoid scratches.
- Semi-gloss black powder coated. Professionally powder coated with Cardinal T002-BK08 semi-gloss black, this looks great under the hood, especially on black or white cars.
- Sanded finish is pre-sanded before bending, so it is paint ready - perfect for rattle-can spray paint jobs.
- (Sorry, flat black is currently out of stock, but any local powder coat shop can help you with a custom finish!)
Available Sizes
- Standard Size: 3-row, fits radiators up to 2-7/8" thick (most "ebay" radiators or normal 3-row radiators will fit). Fits 4th gen stock radiator swaps as well.
- Large Size: 4-row, fits radiators up to 3-5/8" thick - for use with extra-thick 3-row, or 4-row radiators. Confirmed by customers to also fit the Cold Case LMP590 radiator.

Perfectly fits and retains a Wizard Cooling aluminum radiator with brushless fan package (#951-202BL) in a 1982 Camaro Z28, utilizing Energy Suspension Radiator Isolator Pads (#3.6117G). Very satisfied with the finish as well.

Well made and fit nicely. Only problem I had was that the holes for the rubber isolators did not line up with the mounting tab on the isolator itself. Not a major problem as I simply drilled new holes to match the isolator tabs. Overall happy with the purchase. It looks like it belongs in the car.

Be careful of your radiator tank size I bought this for my 86 trans am then realized it did not fit my new aftermarket 2 row aluminum radiator this company does offer one for a 4 row radiator that would of worked for me but it did not have the specs listed clearly so I got the one for the 3 row radiator for a 2 row but it does not work on the cold case 2 row radiator but it is a beautiful piece and is well made and worth the money if you get right size

Solid peice of aluminum with good bends. Had some troubles with one of the mounting holes not lining up. Got in contact with seller and he was quick to communicate and help correct the situation. Would definitely recommend!

This shroud is exactly what I've been looking for after installing a new 3 row radiator. Looks good and feels very sturdy. I got the sanded version to do my own textured black coating and it looks incredible. Will add a pic after I get my third gen back.

I have bulky brackets to attach my fans to the radiator so I had to cut a little strip off each side for it to sit flush but looks great!Seller definitely great to deal with, would deal with again!
