This is a custom-designed upper radiator support/shroud intended for use in 3rd gen Camaro and Firebirds (1982-1992) with aftermarket, 3-row, 4-row, or 5-row radiators. This replaces the original plastic top shroud, and is intended for use with aftermarket aluminum radiators or LS swaps.
If your Camaro or Firebird's top radiator holder is missing, or you're using zip ties or long bolts to hold your aftermarket radiator in place, this is the part you've been looking for!
Manufactured in North Carolina, USA out of heavy duty 14 gauge 5052 aluminum; it is sturdy enough that it will likely outlast your Camaro. Installation is simple - just remove and reinstall with the 4 bolts along the front edge of your current radiator support. For the perfect tight fit, you'll want to trim and install rubber isolators to fit your specific radiator setup. Rubber isolators are not included but highly recommended.
Please note that no upper hose bracket is included, as every build is different. If your upper hose needs more support, you can drill this bracket and add a hose clamp to hold the hose where you need it.
Available Finishes
- "Shiny" polished-look finish - this is a smooth, raw aluminum finish (also known as "mill finish"). Looks great under the hood, but can scratch more easily than the sanded finish.
- Sanded/brushed aluminum finish - a matte finish that can be used as-is, or painted/powder coated. The sanded finish takes paint and powder coat very well.
- Semi-gloss black powder coated. Professionally powder coated with Prismatic Powders semi-gloss black, this looks great under the hood, especially on black cars.
- Flat black powder coated. Professionally powder coated with Prismatic Powders flat black, this really stands out in your engine bay and is perfect for a unique look.
Please note, these are raw aluminum which naturally attracts scratches and may have small imperfections due to the mill or manufacturing process.
Available Sizes
- Standard Size: 3-row, fits radiators up to 2-7/8" thick (most "ebay" radiators or normal 3-row radiators will fit)
- Large Size: 4-row, fits radiators up to 3-5/8" thick - for use with extra-thick 3-row, or 4-row radiators
- Monster Size: 5-row, fits radiators up to 4-1/8" thick - for insane setups or extra-thick 4-row or 5-row radiators
