Do you have "truck coils" or "heatsink coils" on your LS engine or swap, but want to use a nice looking Brian Tooley Racing valve cover?
Haven't been able to figure out how to get the D585 "truck coils" to fit on the odd-shaped BTR standoff that mounts the coils on the valve cover? We have the solution!
This set of eight laser-cut, CNC bent, and powder coated brackets is exactly what you need to adapt side-mount coils like the Delphi GN10119 or AC Delco D585 to any BTR valve covers that use a T-shaped stand off (where the coils sit up off of the valve cover).
This is a show-car grade set that is professionally made here in North Carolina, USA and I use them on my personal 6.0 swapped 1983 Trans-Am. I wanted a good looking valve cover but was disappointed that I'd have to get new coils - especially because the "heatsync coils" that came on my donor motor are considered to be the most powerful OEM coils!
Your order includes eight brackets, one for each cylinder, plus 16x M5 button cap bolts and 16x M5 lock nuts, as well as bolts to attach each pair of brackets to the BTR stand-off. The included nuts and bolts are black, and the bracket is powder coated in a black that matches the OEM coil mounts - so you end up with a totally stock look!
Please note: this kit wll only work on BTR valve covers that include the T-shaped stand off made for normal LS1-style coils (not their optional bracket for "smart coils", which is a different shape). The D585 coils themselves are NOT included, obviously.

Does NOT work with valve covers that have the BTR VC-SCBRKT-01 "smart coil" bracket, as those do not have the proper spacing for the coils to fit; you will need to purchase a set of four VC-CBRKT2 brackets from BTR to install these adapters or any standard LS coils on your valve cover.
